Louisa has 6 years of peripatetic teaching experience, teaching both children and adults at all levels. She is an enthusiastic and engaging teacher with a wide knowledge of different genres of music, and a creative way of thinking that goes hand-in-hand with her passion for education.

As well as teaching privately, Louisa holds Woodwind Teaching positions at ACS International School and Orchard House School. Louisa is a clarinet tutor on the London Musical Theatre Orchestra’s Upbeat outreach programme.

Louisa has frequently worked with the RCM Sparks department, which does outreach projects with local schools and underprivileged communities. She has co-led workshops both in the RCM and at local primary schools, where her singing training comes as a big asset for teaching and workshop leading.

She has studied the theory and practical elements of teaching of both instrumental and whole class pedagogy in her elected teaching modules as part of her degree.
